The assistant

Meet Spok. Your AI colleague for documents.

Remembers what you've read. Watches your deadlines. Drafts, signs, edits — across every document you have.

Free for 5 documents per month · No card · End-to-end encrypted

Proactive moment

Spok messages you first

You open HOOH. Before you ask anything, Spok surfaces what matters: "Your rent renews in 4 days — $2,450. I can draft the renewal email if you'd like."

Level III — The Memory

Deadlines pulled from documents. Remembered for later.

HOOH finds dates, renewals, bills, and follow-ups across your files, then turns them into reminders that stay with your workspace and fire once, not twice.

What makes Spok different from "AI assistants"

Four verbs most chatbots can't claim

  • Remembers across visits

Up to 1,000 facts per user · encrypted · de-duplicated

Spok keeps a memory layer scoped to you. Facts auto-extract from your documents and persist between sessions; duplicates merge.

  • Watches your deadlines

Pulls dates from your docs · fires once · never doubles

Lease renewals, tax deadlines, insurance lapses, payment dates — Spok pulls them from your documents and surfaces them at the right time.

  • Works in every product

Same Spok in Chat, PDF Editor, HOOH Editor

One assistant across the whole workspace. The memory you build in chat is the same memory the editor reads.

  • Encrypted per user

What Spok knows about you · only you can read

Memory is encrypted with a key derived from your account. Anthropic can't read it. We can't read it. Only Spok, on your behalf.

Memory

Three things Spok remembers

How the memory layer works in practice. Three slices, each scoped per user.

  • Facts

    "Your lease expires 2028"

Auto-extracted from documents. Names, dates, amounts, addresses. Spok references them in future answers without you re-asking.

  • Context

What you're working on right now

Current chat thread, the document you just opened, the task you started yesterday — Spok keeps the through-line.

  • Preferences

How you like to be addressed

Tone, language, signature style, calendar habits. Spok adapts without you configuring.

Role inference

Spok learns who you are

After a few documents, Spok activates the right skills automatically. No persona picker. No setup.

  • A parent

→ deadlines, medical, financial skills active

  • A student

→ planning, web intelligence, documents skills

  • A lawyer

    → contracts, redaction, planning active

Same Spok, different surface

Spok across the three products

One Spok, three surfaces — same memory, different actions.

  • In Chat

Answers, cites, compares · 5-round agentic loop

Pulls from your 20-document workspace. Cites every claim back to the page and line.

  • In PDF Editor

Highlights what to redact · summarizes before you sign

Reads the document before you do. Flags the clauses worth re-reading.

  • In HOOH Editor

Drafts, refines, restructures · 10 DOCX tools

Writes the document from your sources. Edits live with you, keeps formatting intact, exports as real DOCX.

What Spok knows · who else can see it

Only you.

Spok's memory of your documents is encrypted with a key derived just for you. Anthropic can't read it. We can't read it. Spok keeps your context — and keeps it private.

Questions

About Spok specifically

Can I see what Spok remembers?
Yes. There's a memory inspector in Settings — every fact, context note, and preference, with timestamps and the source document. You can also export the whole memory bundle.
Can I delete memories?
Anytime. Delete individual facts, clear a category, or wipe the whole memory layer. Deletions are immediate; nothing lingers in a backup.
What model powers Spok?
We pick the model that fits the task — fast for short replies, larger for full drafts or complex reasoning. You don't have to choose; you just get the answer.
Does Spok work offline?
Memory lookups and document reads run locally where possible; generation and complex reasoning need a server round-trip. Pure offline use is on the roadmap.
How accurate are the deadline reminders?
Spok extracts dates from your documents and double-checks against the document structure (e.g. "renewal in §3.1" alongside the actual date). When confidence is low, Spok asks before scheduling.
What if Spok is wrong?
Every answer has a citation. Click through, verify, and correct. Corrections feed back into Spok's memory so the same mistake doesn't repeat for you.
